Who uses Forum 360?

Forum 360 is a meeting place where investors, advisers, senior management of listed companies and portfolio managers come to engage with each other. It is a place for investors and advisors to shop for a fund or listed company. Then meet with management teams, review and rate their communication for the benefit of other shoppers. A place where it is easy for investors to transition from the meeting to seek advice from their existing advisor, seek a new advisor or take action through their advisor, broker, investment platform or direct with a fund manager.

How simple is it to navigate Forum 360?

Sign up securely and start shopping for a fund or company to meet with. Its as simple as scrolling, click on the manager to find out more about their fund or company. Then book a meeting. Ask a question to help the manager prepare for your meeting or select an area of interest. Your meeting sits in your calendar and when it comes time you simply click on the link in your calendar to start the meeting. Ask questions through the meeting by typing them in at the bottom of your screen then transition easily to review the communication, seek advice or invest via your chosen path.

Why should I meet with the manager of my money?

Think of the big investments you make during your life. Your health, your family’s education, your house, funding your retirement. Should you need surgery, you meet with your family doctor then consult with a surgeon who will be managing the procedure before and after. You have a relationship with school admissions then the teachers who will be managing your children’s education. You have a relationship with an architect to design the extension to your house and the head builder who will be managing the build. Now you have the chance to build a relationship with your planner and the portfolio manager or CEO/CFO managing your money.

What would I ask the manager of my money?

Only you can really answer this. The important point is to ask the question that will help you determine whether this investment is the right fit for your goals. If you are unsure after the answer, consult your advisor or seek an advisor from those advertising their services on Forum 360. Note that managers who are accessible, transparent and communicate their strategy well tend to attract more investment and retain that investment for longer than those who think it is all about ratios and performance.

Do you provide investment advice?

No we do not. Forum 360 is a communications company. We make it easy to transition from a meeting to seek advice from your existing advisor or to search for an advisor from those advertising their services at our meeting place. Similarly, we do not handle or represent any member assets, funds or capital. We make it easy to transition from a meeting to your execution agent (broker, financial adviser or investment platform) to place your order or to deal directly with a fund manager.

How is your service different to an Investor Day, Meet the Manager event or Webinar?

Investor Day and Meet the Manager events are typically held at physical locations as are conferences and shareholder meetings. Not that convenient for most shareholders or members. Webinars and conference calls are certainly more convenient but are typically not a great experience. Who enjoys ‘listening to the experts’ for a long period before having a chance to ask a question? Forum 360 provides meeting participants the experience of virtually sitting across the table from the manager of their money having your questions (or area of interest) answered from the outset of the meeting through to its conclusion within 30 minutes. From the convenience of your smartphone at a meeting place where shopping for other meetings, seeking advice from an advisor or transitioning to take action is simple and secure.

What is a Forumpass?

Your Forumpass is a secure facility to store and verify your investment credentials. Details of your investment vehicles, advisor(s), broker(s) and your investment platforms are stored here. Information that pre-fills application forms for new service providers or to invest direct with a fund manager is also stored here. It is a profile that you can build over time and when changes are made, easily notify those with whom you have a relationship. Forumpass is designed to enable members to seamlessly transition from a meeting to their providers of advice or execution. And to dramatically reduce the hassle and time it takes to fill application forms for new advisors, brokers, investment platforms and fund managers.   

What does it cost to be a member?

Membership is free for everyone. Some meetings you wish to join may incur a small charge, no more than the cost of renting a new release movie.

Are my details secure?

Forum 360 is a wholly owned subsidiary of Forum Care Ltd (ABN: 619 578 951). The Care in our name showcases to our team and members our commitment, since the inception of our company, to keep our members information secure as best we can. Data security is in our DNA. We have partnered with Microsoft to provide the latest in encryption and cloud infrastructure while ensuring our infrastructure is ready for the next leap forward in security.

How do you store my details?

Your details are stored on your Forumpass – an encrypted file sitting within Microsoft’s Azure cloud infrastructure. You permission who you want to share your information with, not us.

What do you do?

Forum 360 is a meeting place. Where advisers like you can meet and build relationships with the managers of your client’s money. Meet with portfolio managers of funds or the senior management of listed companies. Looking to engage with a new fund or company? Our meeting place is simple to navigate and is similar to the great mobile shopping experiences you enjoy elsewhere.

Do you offer investment advice?

No. Forum 360 is a communications company and not in the business of advice. We encourage all participants to seek advice from their advisor and help their advisor prepare for a discussion about what their client has been shopping for, irrespective of whether the advisor is a member of our network or not.

How can you help me improve collaboration with my clients?

We provide regular, convenient, free or very low cost access to portfolio managers and senior management of listed companies via a virtual group meeting format where managers answer your questions or discuss your areas of interest. You choose whether to represent your client at the meeting or encourage your client to join the meeting.

How can you help reduce customer onboarding costs?

Should you choose to join our network as a platinum member you will be connected with our Forumpass. Forumpass is a secure facility to store member’s investment credentials. Should a member seek you as their new adviser, information from Forumpass can automatically pre-populate your onboarding documents to reduce the hassle to both parties and cost to you of onboarding them. Forumpass also acts as a dynamic update of changes to a members investment credentials.

How can you help me attract new clients?

Members are encouraged to seek advice from their existing advisor. Should they not have an advisor, when they go to seek advice they can search for a new advisor (or change advisor) from those advertising their services on our network. Your advertisement also means you are connected to Forumpass that takes some of the hassle out of onboarding for both parties.

Our mission is to help companies like yours engage with advisors and investors using the latest in virtual meeting technology. From your office, for no more than two hours, every marketing cycle and at the scale you determine. Booked from your website, your email, via our simple to use forum or a third party. Show your value proposition and receive feedback and analysis of data that actually relates to the meeting; from shopping interest through meeting to fulfillment.

How do you help me engage with existing holders?

Forum 360 offers an efficient method to regularly engage with your investors and their advisors. A positive for governance.
